1 Who We Are

Viktor Kraus, based in the Czech Republic, is the data controller for the nexthub.cz website described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

2 Scope of This Policy

This policy covers the nexthub.cz marketing website — the page you are reading now, including the blog. It does not cover the NextHub application itself, which is self-hosted software that runs against your own Nextcloud server: how the app handles data is described in §6 of our Terms of Service, and diagnostics are additionally covered in §6 of this policy below.

3 What We Collect on This Website

We keep this deliberately minimal.

• Website analytics. We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we self-host on our own server in the Czech Republic — not a third-party service. It does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information. It only tells us anonymised, aggregate numbers: page views, referrer, approximate country, and browser/device type. It cannot identify you or track you across other websites.
• Demo and quote requests. The "Book a demo" and "Request a quote" buttons on this site open your own email client via a mailto: link addressed to [email protected]. There is no contact form on this website and no database that stores your enquiry — whatever you send us lands directly in our email inbox, the same as any other email.

4 Legal Basis

Aggregate, anonymised website analytics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding how our website is used — since no personal data is involved, this does not require your consent under the ePrivacy rules on cookies. If you email us for a demo or quote, we process the resulting correspondence to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5 Cookies

This website does not set any cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, and not for any third-party tracking. We also do not use Google Fonts, Google Analytics, or any other third-party script that would call out to an external server on your behalf; all fonts and scripts are served from our own domain.

6 The NextHub App and Diagnostics

The NextHub app does not transmit crash reports or usage analytics automatically. Diagnostic logs (crash information, written locally on your device) stay on your device and are only ever shared with us if you actively choose to do so — for example via an "Export logs" action in the app's settings, which you would then attach to a support email yourself. Nothing is sent to us in the background. If this ever changes in a future version of the app, we will update this policy and the in-app settings accordingly before enabling it.

7 Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only infrastructure involved in running this website is our own self-hosted server. We do not use advertising networks, social media pixels, or third-party analytics platforms on this site.

8 Data Retention

Website analytics are aggregate and anonymised from the moment they are recorded, so there is no personal data to delete or retain a schedule for. Email correspondence (e.g. a demo request) is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry and for our standard business record-keeping, after which it is deleted on request.

9 International Transfers

Our website analytics run on a server we operate ourselves in the Czech Republic — no analytics data leaves the EU. Email you send us is handled through our own mail provider; we do not route it through third-party marketing or CRM platforms.

10 Your Rights (GDPR)

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you (for example, the content of an email you sent us), or to object to further contact. Just email [email protected] and we will handle it within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the Czech Republic, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.cz).

11 Children

NextHub is a business-to-business product intended for use by companies and their employees. This website is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, children.

12 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we introduce a new feature on the website. The "Effective date" at the top will always reflect the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
